Council for the Blind has been a leading provider of eye services in Zimbabwe since 1955. We have strived to compliment the Government of Zimbabwe, efforts to prevent blindness, restore sight to thousands of Zimbabweans and improve the quality of life for many whose sight cannot be restored.

Good morning Council for the Blind family!!!

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We have exciting news for the month of May/June. There are going to be several outreaches in different parts the country, and these will be mainly focusing on Cataract surgeries.

The itinerary will be as follows:

1. Karoi District Hospital, Mashonaland West – 27 to 30 May 2024

2. Zvishavane Hospital – 11 June 2024

3. Mutawatawa District Hospital, Mashonaland East – 24 to 26 June 2024

N.B In Karoi, we shall also be screening patients for Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy
